AI WARNING

Idea from J.R.R. Tolkien' epic Lord of the Rings. A Dwarf in the Mines of Moria as the Second Age ends.

Background layer is from my library. Mine and Dwarf from MidJourney. A simple three layer composite in Photoshop using Blend Mode Darken and Opacity adjustments.

I have read and reread the Trilogy and related books at least 4 times over the years. A friend gave me book 1 of the trilogy to read on the plane flying home from Nam when my stepfather died. I bought the other two books and took them back when my emergency leave was over, and that set of three got passed around to everyone in the HQ company who could read until they were ragged and coming apart. They were especially popular with people working the night shift at HQ because you only had two states of being - nothing to do=bored and busy as a demented bee on caffeine because all hell was breaking loose.

Thanks for looking Robert. I have "The Lord of the Rings" in a 3 volume hard bound set, in paper back and on my Kindle. I have read it more times than I can count since I first came across it while working in King City CA.

I have the paper backs, Nook a map set with guide book. My oldest son went even crazier about it than me, so I got him the hard back set as a gift. He says it is "ours". And then there is the "Hobbit", "Silmarillion" etc.

I now buy e-books almost exclusively. Does anyone know if the Complete History is available on nook or kindle, I have both?
