I love to take scenic or landscape photos. Here are five for today. Comments with each photo let's you know where they were taken, and a little bit about each.
Seventeen miles northwest of this point the Edmund Fitzgerald went down during a storm without survivors. Whitefish point lighthouse and museum were behind me on a cold fall day when I took this.

Took a cruise visiting the ABC islands off the coast of South America. These are some of the salt mounds being stored for export on Bonaire. It's also supposed to be famous for reef diving, but I can't testify to that. Scenery was pretty bad.

Six of us rented a VRBO in Terlingua, in the Big Bend area of Texas. This was the view to the northeast. Sheer cliffs to the right of this.

I know this was on the route a couple of buddies and I took into Colorado but just can't remember where. It was in the fall just before they closed down the roads in RMNP.

Tahquamenon Falls in the Michigan UP. The brown water is not from mud or sediment but rather the tannic acid from the oak trees surrounding the river. Beautiful falls and park.
