How convenient to say Trump is being persecuted for criminal actions that he did, instead of allowing our court system to do its job. He brought all of the issues that he is dealing with on himself. No one made him do what he is accused of doing.
The country needs to see this man tried and then allow the system to decide his fate, like anyone else accused of criminal actions.

That's funny, since this is about precise meanings of words. I can assure you that the Army and everybody was thankful for my service. Even Bob Hope sent my mother a letter thanking her for my service.

You guys seem to think St Peter gives the 'sexual assaulters' better seats than the 'rapists' ... and that the v**ers aren't even shocked that these absurd distinctions are being made ... out loud ... with straight faces ... about the MAGA's 2024 ... "El Contender Superior, Mr DJT!" What would the 'Gipper' say?

"...definition included..." lots of things can be included in the definition of lots of words. The definition of abuse could also include torture by a Dungeon Master.

Well my wife wants a "New Car" and the definition of a "new car" includes the Rolls-Royce. It doesn't mean she is looking for one.

Yes, sexual assault can be verbal up to some dumb teenager "accidentally brushing his hand" against a girl in the school hall and at the far end, an actual rape.
In law/court they are supposed to use precise language with a definite meaning, not a vague word or term that "includes" many things. That is so no one misunderstands what they mean.
Not all lawyers and courts do that, but the vast majority do.

Among my friends over the years are a number of lawyers, a couple of law professors and a few judges, to include one 9th Circuit Court of Appeals judge who previous was a law professor and then Dean of the USC Law School.

Having taught Government and the Constitution from time to time in addition to my main fields of history and geography, I spent a lot of time discussing law and court related things with them to help me with my lesson plans and presentations.

I agree with you which is why I'm usually very deliberate in words I use. Aside from the legal meanings, there are real-life examples where people bring their own definitions to words. Using Effate's label of "aggravated sexual assault" that parents see on their neighborhood registry, I believe many people's interpretation will be "rape".

So far as I know you have Joe Biden running again. Assuming that your suggestion that a used condom would be a better choice it looks like this for the race to POTUS..

1. Used Condom
2. Trump
3. Biden

So is this "Used Condom" registered? Going to be listed on the b****t?

Nice bs response. Is this supposed to be some kind of contest to determine who has the right to offer opinions?

Take a good look at my post lil davey. I was quite civil in my post. Yet you seem to always be on the Troll for something to whine and b***h about like a little girl. Trust me on this buddy, it shows.

Try taking a survey, Troll-boy, trust me, you head up the troll list, particularly with your constant insults and leftie/rightie trolling rhetoric. Lol, you're a real piece a work with your denials!

Still g****r confused, huh!

Love it how you continue to deny your trolling status! "Trust me!".

Try following the thread, genius! No mention was made of your civility, wise up, little troll.

Anyway you cut it, his base is stronger, but smaller.
The next wave of quitters maybe the GOP candidates that watch money going to Mr. Trump's legal fees instead of their campaign.
Let's not forget that his daughter-in-law will co-chair the RNC. Of course the RNC chairs will continue to organize/finance/strategize to get their candidate elected with the highly qualified and proven political sk**ls of professional political wonks... or they can depend on Ms. Trump.

Those educated v**ers with more than a single functioning brain cell didn't v**e for trump the first time.

Those who came to their senses chose not to v**e for trump the second time.

Only those who're so deeply brainwashed into the trump cult because they've been drinking the trump Kool-aid for way too long that they can no longer think for themselves and believe the trump propaganda, support a t*****r to the US Constitution, think it's OK for an individual to grab women by their private parts and have been found liable for their actions by a jury of their peers, have had four Criminal Indictments with a total of 91 charges to date filed against trump, still support trump, and are still considering v****g for trump a third time.

The most recent three high profile civil cases which trump lost are about to see trump's paper fortune vanish in a huge bonfire as Letitia James starts seizing properties to meet the court ordered settlement in the NY Business Fraud case. trump still has the second E. Jean Carroll case to post the bond for to the tune of $83.3 Million dollars plus interest. The funds could be there for the second E. Jean Carroll case, but they're definitely not there for the NY Business Fraud case based on trump's offer to post only $100 Million out of the over $455 Million which includes interest and penalties.

Then let's not lose sight of the fact that trump still needs to pay the fine for for the lawyers in the New York Times case which was tossed out, to the tune of $392,000.

https://www.cnbc.com/2024/01/12/trump-ordered-to-pay-new-york-times-reporters-over-lawsuit.html

Or the $937,989 fine imposed on trump for bringing frivolous claims against Hillary Clinton in a Florida Federal Court.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-02-28/trump-revives-fight-over-937-989-fine-in-failed-clinton-suit?embedded-checkout=true

https://www.cnbc.com/2023/01/20/trump-and-lawyers-sanctioned-almost-1-million-for-frivolous-lawsuit-against-hillary-clinton.html

It's truly amazing that the trump cult members are so enamored with trump to the point that they send him so much of their money, then they have the nerve to complain about inflation and that they can't afford to put food on their tables.

The trump cult really needs to get their financial priorities straight. Their own personal financial security and the financial security of their families should be front and center long before they click on the donate button every time that trump sends out any of his fundraising emails. Food on the table, a roof over their heads, and fuel in the tank to get them to and from work should be their priorities, NOT sending money to trump to the detriment of their family's well-being. There's no way that the trump cult will be able to come up with / fork over the over half a BILLION dollars needed to prevent a fire sale of trump properties, collectively they simply don't have that kind of money.

I've long said that the trump businesses were a house of cards, that it was an illusion of wealth.

That illusion has now been shattered with these FIVE court cases where trump lost big time, and is now faced with having to liquidate some or all of his assets to settle his debts.

Because trump has hung so much "paper" on his assets, sales of the properties will not net very much cash, so it's going to take the sale of many properties to come up with enough money to pay off what's owed on these court cases, and that's before the trump lawyer's fees are added to what trump owes!

Although trump could try to raise money through loans, who in their right mind would loan trump that kind of money? The merger of t***h social and outside investors just hit pause with another lawsuit filed by at least two of those investors, so trump lost that potential cash source to use to settle the New York Business Fraud case. If trump tries to go for foreign financing, he's setting himself up to be an even bigger National Security risk than he already is.

If Bedminster is added into the mix of properties seized by the State of New York, then it's highly likely that Ivana's "final resting place" will be moved elsewhere. If that happens, at least she'll get perpetual care for for her eventual resting place.

Always looking out for ways to cut costs and save money, trump has tried to turn Bedminster into a cemetery hoping to get a tax break!

https://youtu.be/BngF1bJWanU?si=NT9nOUGmfaz7hH9j

One more item, trump is a financial drain on the RNC. Down b****t candidates who usually see funding trickle down to them from the RNC are out of luck, and pretty much have been for the past couple of e******n cycles. The RNC is sending out money to trump faster than money has been coming in.
