I'm not too worried at this point. I don't work for the government.

I believe they are considering banning DJI drones altogether for use anywhere in the U.S.

The question is should I consider selling my DJI drone for another manufacturer?
Are you being serious or posting click bait?
I'm a lot less worried about my drones than I am about Congress doing stupid stuff more serious than banning a single company.
To your specific question, check to see what you can buy before you sell your drone. My reading suggests that those that need to buy non-DJI drones are spending $10,000 to get what a $1000 DJI will do.

I haven't read that anywhere. Can you link to it?

If this should happen, I dont believe there is another drone company that even comes close to the technology of DJI, so drones in the near future would be eliminated.
Having said that, I don't believe it will happen...IF WE FIGHT IT. Write your Representive, Congress Person, even the White House. A simple search can find them for your area. Let them know how ridiculous it would be, and ask them to prove data can be transmitted back to China. Over a million DJI drones in the USA..so how many Chinese does it take to monitor all those drone photos and videos?

You suggested "over a million". I've been searching for drone ownership numbers in the USA and can't find anything that seems fact based. I think it is a lot more than a million. One number that pops up in various places is that 8% of Americans own drones. If it is only 1%, that would be 3.3 million. Lots of sources say the market for drones is in the multiple billions and that would support much higher that "over a million".
