Has anyone else noticed a marked increase in the number and much more annoying. They are in the middle of a thread. Anyone else find them as annoying as I do.

They are so bright ignoring them is difficult plus they are in the middle of a thread. I find that very annoying.

Yup, more revenue...
Weather.com does the same thing.
Advertisers pay to have the ads shown, people pay to not have them shown......
I'm waiting for a third option.
