UT - Snow Geese time

just came back from Delta; a little info for those who might be heading that way

Chamber estimates 10,000 geese with more arriving daily; for a sense of timing as to when to go -

Th at3:59 pm, the birds took off en masse

F, at 8:53 am, the birds arrived en masse, circled and few times, then came in for a landing on the water
that looked like thousands of torpedo planes coming in at low level, and ditching on the water. Within a
couple of minutes, I believe that they were all asleep within a couple of minutes

--- From the days inn on R 6, go to the traffic light, make a rt onto US 6 / 50
--- 4.1 miles ( go over the overpass )Turn right onto W 1000 Rd
--- Turn rt on County 5087; Turn rt onto Robin Hood dr

--- Left onto Sherwood Rd and follow it around, past 1st vacant lot ( that has "private property" signs ), to the
larger vacant gravel lot you can park and observe the birds in

best times are apparently from about 18th of Feb to 1st week of March

My shore home, we would get hundreds of thousands of them in the fall . National geographic had photographers there one year
A few times they would land on the beach in front of my house. all was well and good till I let the dog out to go pee.

two stupid, but simple questions.... 1. Did the dog first stop to pee?

and, 2. How much 'white stuff' was there to clean up when the dog got close?
