Great set Joe. I hear people complain about these birds, one women actually told me that,they should be tapped and got rid of because they are always eating dead animals. I won't tell you my response. Hopefully she will see these birds in a different way now though.

I'll bet close to twenty years back, I was walking along the shore of our little lake with my camera when something above caught my eye. It was about ten vultures circling above me. They followed me about fifteen minutes, for another half mile or so. I think I whetted their appetites

I see a lot of hawks atop utility poles in the area where I go. As soon as I lift the camera, most of them high-tail it out of there, like the devil was chasing them
The vultures are laid back and curious. I never had one take off on me. In fact, I have been able to slowly get within about five feet of them in my car in order to get a good shot. And then they just looked at me and kept about their business. God bless 'em
