Pricing Sport Pictures

A couple questions for the pro's here. I've been selling photo's and downloads for high school sports. I'm trying to figure out what kind of pricing to do on downloads for people that want to put a book together. My pricing is lower than MaxPreps as doing a book of downloads from MaxPreps would be cost prohibitive for almost all my clients. I haven't had anyone try to do a book because the downloads would make a pretty pricey book. Most of my clients just put a book together using 4 x 6 pictures. Do you lower your price per download if someone wanted 40 plus downloads to do a book? Thanks

No. If somebody wants a book I put together a book and charge them for the book.

Thank you, I believe that clientele have gotten so used to looking at an iPhone size picture that don't see the value of a hard copy book.

Then sell a digital copy of the book. The reason I think you should do that as opposed to selling separate individual photos that they assemble into book form is very simple.

People have no training in design and may do terrible layout. Anything they show someone else is a reflection on my work and professionalism.

I do not want a client hurtimg my reputation becuse of poor page design or worse yet because they added additiinal photos which I did not take to their collection of photos giving other viewers the belief that I took them.
