i hate to show my utter stupidity, but i see so many things on this forum i would like to email to friends and family, but i don't know how. would someone fill this old mind with a little knowledge? if you tell me to cut and paste, the only way i know how to do that is with paper glue and paper, so please be specific. yes hazel, there are people this dumb! i tell every one, when it comes to computers, i may be dumb, but i am stupid! help!!!

Move your cursor over to the top left corner of what you want to copy. When you get it in the right spot it will turn into a line. Hold down ctrl & alt keys at the same time and left click your mouse. All the writng should turn blue. Right click & left click on copy. Go to where you want to paste it and left click then right click then left click on paste. This should work.

This ole fart does it the easy way.

1. Left click with your mouse at the beginning of the test you want. Do it right in this message for practice.
2. Drag your mouse (making the text blue) to where you want to stop.
3. Now just touch ( at the same time ) Control and letter C.
4. Bring up your email program, get your addresses set up
5. In the text block of your email just touch Control and V.

Voila.

Control C = Copy Blue Text
Control V = Paste (after a copy)
Control X = Delete (blue text)
Control U = Underline Blue Text
Control B = Makes blue text bold

All of these work while your text is blue

If you find a particular post, or even a website, you would like to Forward look to the top of your internet browser for something that looks like http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-80032-1.html.
Click on it and it should highlight itself.
Now click-and-hold the CTRL key to the right or left of your space bar and then click-and-release C. You can release the CTRL key now too. (You may also right-click with your mouse and choose Copy)
From here you will want to open your email progam and Compose a message.
In the body of the message you can click-and-hold CTRL and click V. Once the web address appears you can release all the keys. (You may also right-click and choose Paste)
Title your message, etc. and you are done!
When they receive it they will click on it and it will open the same posting you were looking at with the addition of any new entries.
Try it. It is easy once you do it a few times.
