Heavy ground fog on a winter day so I ran out and got some interesting shots. Everything was close to black and white already.

Spectacular! The fact that the tree is leaning so precariously creates a very uneasy, almost foreboding mood.

Dan, if your photos are on a website, you can put a link in your signature line so that we can enjoy your collection. Do that via "my profile," top of page.

Thanks for your kind words. I did have a website for a while on smugmug but got tired of paying for it. After the initial blush of friends and family, I was the only one looking at it! I haven’t really tried to find a venue for my photos that’s free, there probably is one. As I recall, Lightroom had a way of letting someone view a collection. I used it once but it was complicated.

I started getting involved with flickr a few months ago. You can use it free for the first 1,000 images

You can also embed those photos into a UHH page, like I did in Landscape Forum.

The lake never looked that good when my brother and I swam in it during the summers mid 1950s.

Wow, that’s going back. I can tell you it doesn’t look that good now! Looks better in black and white with a little photoshop to boot.
