It’s not like it isn’t “WYSIWYG.”
Or any day that ends in “Y”
Maybe avoid 7 days a week! 👍👍

Why avoid them? Stop and visit. They're people like the rest of us. There's an event every July 4th north of us in Oldtown, ID put on by the HA called "Run Whatcha Brung." Motorcycle drag races. Fun but rather loud event. Good way to spend the day.

I agree, Tom. My favorite festival is the Lone Star Rally in Galveston. My point with this photo was a bit of humor at this particular club. Wouldn't want to run into a bunch of Boozefighters when trying to get high on a Friday evening.

True. If they were looking for a fight for some reason. I rode for many years and with several clubs. No longer due to health issues. But in all the years I rode on two wheels, I never had a problem even with the 1%s. Too long a story for here but I went to a sidecar with my pup. Even then, or perhaps especially then, I never had a problem. Fortunately never caught in the crossfire. lol... Here's one H-D made several years ago. Probably 2009.

If you are inclined find a copy of the video (DVD) Sit, Stay, Ride, the story of America's Sidecar Dogs. It's more recent (2014) and my final sidecar co-pilot is in it. As are many others. It's available on Amazon.

He's gone now. It took a while before I'd even look for another but I found Henry in the same shelter as Archie. Henry would ride but his big thrill was chasing coyotes and the few vehicles that go through on our road. That was his downfall. He got hit. My wife said, "No more dogs." I told her I would get another but this time one we both liked. She didn't care for Henry. That's another story for another time. Three days later we were making the rounds of the shelters. We found Petey. He's still with me. And he loved to ride as much as Archie. But I sold the bike when health issues interfered. We both miss it.

Thanks for your reply, our dogs (and other friends) continue to live within us even after they have left this realm. I really like the image you posted with your reply.

A great story, and a spectacularly eye catching shot surrounded by that unbreaking white 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍

Thank you both for the positive comments. That wasn't the shot I had in mind when I began searching but perhaps more fitting for a photography forum than the one I had in mind. Life is good. We have to remember the difference between an ordeal and an adventure is attitude.
