Good morning. I am looking for recommendations for a workshop/tour of the Canadian Rockies, the Banff-Jasper area. Any advice appreciated.
check out the catalog of workshops at Backcountry Journy. They have many workshops almost everywhere.
The area offers a lot of landscapes. A wide angle lens is a must. Wild life can be also seen like deers, bears, moose and birds/raptors. I suggest you take a telephoto or a zoom with up to 300mm if not 400mm. A tripod is always recommended. Also I suggest a graduated neutral filter to take photo of waterfalls. Concerning camera, I suggest a good DSLR and a spare one. Do not forget batteries, chargers, memories and other required accessories for your camera. Enjoy your trip.
