Back in the 80s when I was contemplating a move to the Golden State, I watched "Down and Out in Beverly Hills" every day for a couple of years in order to peacefully fall asleep. I loved California and the movie, and this glorious shot instantly took me back half a lifetime 🥇🥇🥇🥇

I know what you mean when you talk about the quality of the pictures submitted and trying to stand up to the high standards. However, I think you've done a wonderful job. Your variety and pictures are great. I love the port images (I'm partial to this type of subject) but I also really enjoyed #5 and 7.

P. 27 I was going to say, my favorite is the 2nd one with it's silhouettes (particularly the bird) against that brilliant sky but then I scrolled to the next one. Love that one too!
