My Uncle Edward, the WWII hero sergeant, had a black and white Crown Vic 1955 that he called his Holstein. We all loved it.
Great looking car - the only drawback to the '55s is that they still utilized 6-volt electronics.
Gorgeous to say the least

Nicely shot photo of in my mind a great example of the best looking Ford ever built.
Only the 56 was more beautiful.
I had one just like it only Flamingo and white. The keys to mine fit at least two others just like it. Found that out quite by accident. One belonged to my aunt. Don't know who the other belonged to but a black bag on the passengers seat told me it wasn't mine AFTER I drove it away. I got it around the block in downtown B'ham Al. , parked back in the same place, drove MINE off before the owner ever came out of wherever he/she was.
That's real panic!!!
Yes, great car. Didn't a lot of police depts use this vehicle but with the suped-up engine?

Well, they did use Crown Vics, but more like from the late 1990s-2013. Some local cities may have used a 1955, but nowhere near as extensively as the later Crown Vics.
Great shot of a classic car...K.A.N.

Great shot, KT. I agree with John. I was never a Ford guy but that '55 model here is one of the best looking cars of that whole era.
I too was never a Ford guy but that '55 was a really sharp car. The only Ford '55 model I liked better would be a Mercury Montclair hardtop or maybe a '55 Lincoln. All were nice cars in that year..
Easily my favorite car of the 50s. It’s sleek looks like it’s in constant motion and was a beauty to drive.
