Stella is back from her great adventure, unharmed, but transformed to an orange calico

My moonrise shot, my brushes, someone else's frame, stars from images.nasa.gov

Beautiful scene! I really like the whole layout. The moon rightfully takes the scene to a fanciful level!

Another page from a great Stella kid's book. You use the simplicity of color themes to great advantage in your storytelling.

We identify with Stella. Identifying with a character is important in storytelling. Parasocial... identification/bonding with the image character is discussed at length by Patrick Wanis Ph.D. Behavior Expert in his publication, May 30, 2019:
https://www.patrickwanis.com/the-psychology-of-identifying-bonding-with-movie-characters-fandom/

Linda said: " The colors make me happy." Colors have a big influence on our feelings as in my work changing the PR mood of the Potato Eaters from somber to bright up beat.

Color changes the mood is explained on page 76 of a discussion of image psychology a pdf by John Suler PhD that is 491 pages long. Photographic Psychology: Image and Psyche first appeared online at Rider University in 2008 and later at True Center Publishing. This pdf edition was published at johnsuler.com in 2023. Well worth the read.

Beautiful Linda. I'm glad Stella made it back. I was starting to worry about her

Not to worry, Jack. Stella is far more resourceful than we are
