The judge has ruled that Trump is guilty of committing fraud in New York and has ordered him to pay $350 Million in fines. There is no surprise there. The judge had stated from day one that Trump was guilty. My question is, "Who gets the money?" The state of New York? How convenient! I'm sure other New York developers are taking a close look at this ruling.

Maybe the judge is hoping to retire to a nice little island in the tropics with a 150,000 sq ft 100 bedroom fishing shack and a cruise line hotel franchise.

Normally fines go to the county of jurisdiction. But the grifter will appeal and it will most likely be years before he has to pay.

He should never have to pay. If you look at the case no other individual in New York has ever been taken to court for fraud under the circumstances they took Trump to court for. He did not defraud anyone of money. All the banks got paid. On top of that, all of his paperwork had a disclaimer right on them telling the banks to do their own appraisals. There was no fraud and anyone who has looked at the case knows that. The whole trial is a sham. Hopefully Trump will eventually win on appeal, because if he is guilty of fraud in this case so is every other developer in the state of New York. It just isn't fraud to say your property is worth more than the state says it's worth as long as you don't use that claim to defraud someone.

He received substantial loans with discounted terms because of his fraudulent applications. He deceived the banks to obtain these loans.
Wether or not anyone else did it and got away with it doesn’t excuse him.

He didnt deceive the banks. His applications said right on them that the banks needed to do their own due diligence and the banks were all paid off. No one was harmed and the banks loaned the money willingly.
If his loan applications did not have the disclaimer maybe you would have a case. But seriously are you trying to tell me that banks do not check for themselves before giving out loans. Just try lying about the value of your home to get a loan and see how that goes. The whole case is absurd. All the banks have to do is check the appraised value. it must have been pretty close or they wouldn't have given out the loans.
Just for an example they claim in the court case that Mara Lago is only worth 18 million as opposed to what Trump says but that is ridiculous as bare land in the same vacinity has sold for more than 18 million.
If you cant see that its a farce you are blind. Just ask yourself this sple question. If it is really fraud how ce Trump was never investigated until he ran for office and never charged until years after they claim he comitted the fraud. When they opened up the investigation he was president and wasnt even running the business. It is currupt third world politics at its worst. I repeat NO ONE ELSE HAS EVER BEEN CHARGED FOR THIS KIND OF FRAUD WITH NO VICTIM!
He broke the rules so if you break the rules you have to pay. I bet a lot of other entrepreneurs bottoms are twitching. If I break the rules I expect to be punished for it as every other person should Democrat or Republican. Let's see how the appeal goes.

I can't see it going well for him. A crook is a crook!!! Because he says he's not guilty, does not remove factual guilt.
Trump thinks he can do as he pleases anytime, anywhere. He is now in the middle of a welcome to the reality of law abiding people!

If he didn't pay correct taxes, then yes. Court determined he didn't. IRS may soon come knocking.
Accounting firms added their own disclaimers as to the data validity. Look up detrimental reliance defense cases.
Banks and accounting firms thought they had a whale when they had a weasel; those that stayed with him after discovering (or authoring) the deceptive schemes deserve prosecution too.
Those I've worked with in audits were tough, thorough, and unyielding to meet their standards. Trumps lawyers, financial management, banks, etc. all played in the same cesspool, but the buck stops at the top. Corporate governance is nothing to scoff at
I'm not wrong minded. Since when do you force someone to pay 350 million for a "fraud" where no one was defrauded?
The only possible fraud would be tax fraud, but since they supposedly inflated the value of the properties it's hard to believe that there was tax fraud.
