Fanni Willis, "I paid him in cash."

I just watched a Judge Judy program where a contractor claimed to have paid a sub-contractor in cash. Judge Judy told him, "that's not how you do business, you know that, you write checks to keep records." Willis is a lawyer, an attorney general no less. She should know the same thing. I don't buy her claim that she paid Wade in cash.

I do because she was talking about foreign travel vacation in touristy areas; US cash is king. It was not state business expenses like in Judge Judy's case. Big difference.

The "underground economy" is still alive and well! Yes, cash is king!

We not talking about money spent abroad. We're talking about reimbursing somebody for travel and accommodations. In these cases, records are always important. She should have learned this in law school. If she didn't, she shouldn't be the AG of Georgia.

Well, she is the DA. Even lawyers have lapses in judgment due to their humanness. If GA citizens don't want her as DA (not AG) anymore, they have actions they can take. America is wonderful.

If you know many black folks, they have a lot of their money in cash! It seems to be part of their distrust of the system.
Having watched the hearings for the past two days, I fail to see what the F they are trying to prove other than a PR campaign against two consenting adults. Where is all of this so called money that she was supposed to have been given by SP? She tried to hire the former Georgia governor to take the position, but he wanted no part of it!
Just more of a crap show than anything of any real substance. I can't see the judge taking Willis off this case or anyone in her office, but he has final say.

She is the district attorney of Fulton County, Georgia, not AG of Georgia.

Not a business deal, cash is fine between friends.

Well apparently you didn’t listen to the legal analysts on even MSNBC and CNN (not the pundits, the attorneys).

What Trump may have done or didn’t do does not change but the People of the County of Fulton and the State of Georgia should be represented by a person who’s job it is to shine a light on the t***h and prove the elements of any crime beyond a reasonable doubt in an ethical manner. If that person’s (the DA) t***h and veracity are in doubt then the presentation/agenda could taint or otherwise affect how the judge/jury/defendants perceive the evidence.

Then they have the next e******n to fix it. Until then she continues.
With what goes on in congress I would hesitate to bring up ethics . Beside what did she do that is “ unethical?”

Did you listen to the hearing in its entirety? If there is a finding of any impropriety shouldn’t it be addressed before the trial or do you want the verdict (if guilty) to be appealed and overturned wasting everyone’s time and money? Let the Attorney General prosecute the case if there is a conflict in the DA’s office.

You said, “Until then she continues.”

Fortunately, the judge will make that decision, not you.
