Well I'm finally making headway thanks to the inspiration and coaching from all the experts here in the Astronomical group. I thought I would go crazy a few times, but after lots of patience, this is what I came up with.

Canon R6, Askar 120mm f7APO with field flattener, ISO 1600, and a IDAS NBZ II dual band filter, 38x30sec lights, darks, biases and flats, processed in Siril v1.21 and final tweaks in Topaz

Thanks for all the advise.

Thanks Ballard, I wasn't ready to purchase PixInsight, so I downloaded Siril 1.21. It's a free software and after watching a couple YouTube videos, I muddled my way through the process. I believe now that I understand the procedure a bit better, it should be a relatively easy software. I can't believe how well it stacks. I do notice a few red hot spots, but those might be due to me pushing things a bit. The IDAS NBZ II filter claims to reduce the halos around the stars, and it seems to do that very well.

Wow! Very impressive! If I were your neighbor, I'd be over for coaching.
