Did you mean 'whether'? You've made your point.

I've read many of the posts in this thread and I'm not sure that intelligence or lack thereof is the problem. However, I'm convinced that most of the voters are ill informed when they go to the polls. Many will vote a straight democratic ticket or a straight republican ticket even if a better candidate sits on the other side of the fence. Voters fail to do their research before casting their vote.

I recall a comment made by a hollywood comedian:
Never underestimate the stupidity of the American voter.

Let's keep it real.

It's not like the fifties and the sixties anymore. The issues are too polarizing today to cross party lines, either way.

Where do you find a place to research that is not biased by one side or the other?

I understand what you are saying and I agree with you. But going to the poles without reading any of the literature means the vote is based entirely on guesswork.

You have to research multiple sources. For example, folks who watch only CNN or only Fox for news and think they are informed are deluding themselves. You have to watch both.

I hate to be the “correcter” (if that is a word), but it is not 50% below average. Average is a range from one standard deviation above the mean to one standard deviation below the mean. More correctly your comment should be 50% of the population is below the median.

I do not watch either one of those, actually I have not had a TV in 20 years. It is a waste of time and insulting. I have learned to find unbiased sources of information with out all the BS. We have to be careful these day, brainwashing is the objective of the systemites.

Yes, we established that earlier.

Sorry, but by the time I got on, my response ended up on page 7, and I typically don't have the time or inclination to read every entry before I respond to one of the comments I see and choose to respond to.
