I'm not sure what made me ask that but your wife may be right. There's something about her eyes, lovely as they are, that suggests determination. There's nothing wrong with her being stubborn!--I too was a stubborn child; that's the main quality I was known for in fact. Some might argue that I still am. I think of it as "resolute."
