Shutter speed app problem

I have installed shutter speed app by Lukas on my iPhone and it adds its icon on the Home Screen.
When the icon is pressed the Home Screen goes black for about 1/2 second then returns with all icons including shutter speed.
Anyone else had this issue who might be able to help,?

I eMailed Lukas about a fix I discovered for the iPhone. He ignored me.
Try reducing the font size you have set to 110% or smaller. Use the swipe
down menu labeled "aA" on the fast access menu.Then re-launch the App.
I have no idea if this works on an Android (or any other) Mobile Phone.
It worked for me and I was able to find the shutter speed for a T* Hasselblad lens.
It reported 460th of a second when set for 500th.
Note: do not use an LED light source. (Can't remember the technical reason)
