Be sure to watch the women's NCAAB game on Thursday. Catlin Clark will become the all-time leading scorer in Women's Basketball. It might have happened Sunday when Iowa lost to Nebraska but she came up short by three or four baskets. Following her has been my favorite sports event of this fall and winter. She is truly amazing. Almost every game she has a double, double, and occasionally a triple-double. As impressive as her shooting is (sometimes hitting shots from near mid-court), is her passing and ball control. She will execute a no-look pass, pass behind her back, and thread the needle between two defenders with a bounce pass to a player in the post. Although she is a senior, she could play for a fifth year due to COVID. If she chose to do that she could surpass the total points for men's basketball as well. My guess is that she will flip to the pros since money talks.
I've been watching her to. It's fun to watch when they play because they love the game and not so much for the money. Women's basketball salaries are all the rest of women's salaries, lagging far behind men's. It's sad because a lot of those women could out play many men
