Caught this guy yesterday morning digging up the front lawn. He obviously had buried and stored some nuts in the summer to eat in the winter. He has plenty of food on the bird tables but decided to aerate the grass.

Just a quick fun set shot not too sharp taken through the lounge window.

Canon 650D, Tamron 18-400mm lens.

Nice set, Sylvia. The squirrel population at my house seems to have dwindled considerably. Maybe it was our long drought.

If you run low, you only need to ask and I'll send you some of their relatives and friends!

The little guy should come to my yard--I still have literally thousands of walnuts lying around.I am going to have to rake them before I can mow this spring.

Great work, Sylvia.

I have a love/hate relationship with those critters. Most of the time it falls on the negative side of that equation.

Well taken series. YouTube has many videos of folks who have created challenges for them that are highly entertaining.

I appreciate your very kind offer Dave thanks but no thanks. They usually eat from the bird tables but obviously need more sustenance in the winter. He was back again this morning.

Definitely cute Jack, as long as they stick to uprooting the lawn that’s ok. I can always reseed it! Thank you very much for your comment.
