Thanks, Veralisa296. I like my composites to tell a story and the story is most often surreal in some way. The girl needed something to capture her attention as her cat and teddy bear sat next to her. The light scheme required a dark setting which is why I chose the strange dark colors of the night sky and a bright moon as the sole source of light. I needed something surreal which is why I decided to make the melting moon.

Love the light. I might not be as calm as this girl is, if I saw that happen to the moon. Great image.

Thanks, Erich. Perhaps it poses the question of whether it is the girl looking out the window or the viewer who sees the moon melting with her so calm as it may be a scene from the psychedelic days of the '60s.
