It is only 24 megs. And not that innovative besides the global shutter and pre capture. If it was in the range of 50 megs. I might be interested. But at that price point I will stick with the far better a1.

If you are a sports photographer, this is the top camera you can use.
We will just have to wait until the production model is out to see just how impacted the ISO is and if there is any reduction of IQ. But the global shutter is an amazing jump in action photography.

Even if it were half the price they could keep it. Global shutter is of niche benefit maybe to SOME sports photographers, or maybe photographers needing super high speed flash sync, or maybe distortion-less video with fast motion (some cinematic cameras already have that too). Pro capture is most useful, but many existing higher end models from other brands already have that, with fast readout sensors (like the Z8/9).
