Too bad about you and George Santos and Trump's 2022 imaginary red wave.
The gang that couldn't count straight. When given the option to do something real about the immigration mess--pass a compromise bill worked on by one of the more conservative Republicans in the Senate that includes most of what House Republicans have been screaming for and doesn't include things they don't want that Democrats have wanted (e.g., dreamers), a bill supported by the Border Patrol union, the Republican-aligned Chamber of Commerce and the conservative Wall Street Journal editorial board--House Republicans at the direction of Trump k**l the bill and instead try to make it look like they are doing something about the immigration mess by impeaching Mayorkas. But they can't even accomplish that on their first try because they don't know how to count. Now that the failed v**e has possibly taught them how to count, they will likely try again to pass their ridiculous impeachment resolution. Of course, impeaching Mayorkas will do absolutely nothing to solve the immigration mess even if he were to be convicted in the Senate (which he won't be). It's just a bunch of ridiculous political theater intended to reelect the i**********nist. House Republicans care about immigration only insofar as it gives Trump a campaign issue. Trump over country.

Mayorkas isn't the right guy to try to impeach. He is nothing more than a Biden minion carrying out the edicts his boss generates. The impeachment action should be on Biden. He's the one who has created the crisis on our southern border by for example, halting construction on the border wall, implementing the catch and release system, and ended Trump's stay in Mexico policy. What Biden is doing is a disgrace. Impeaching Mayorkas would not have resolved the real problem.

What has Biden done to consider impeachment? Haven't the Republican follies that have gone on til now been an embarrassment enough for them?

I gave you some examples. Biden's failure to secure the southern border threatens our national security. I am not a constitutional lawyer, but I believe that's an impeachable offense.

A policy you don't like does not constitute "high crimes and misdemeanors." You know what high crimes and misdemeanors are, don't you? Two examples: Trump's extortion Ukraine phone call and i**********n.

If the policies result in a threat to our national security, they sure do. With your examples you CLEARLY don't have a clue as to what constitutes high crimes and misdemeanors. I hesitate to ask if you include Biden's extortion in your example. There was no i**********n so there's no value in trying to educate you on that.
The Senate will do nothing with this BS character assassination. Just political folly to appease the radical base.

Kinda like how the DumboCraps did it to Trump, well not the character assassination but the lies that led to Trump impeachents. But why move the goal post from your OP??"
