Well now that he has decisively lost another round of appeals, I guess next step is the SC, if they will even hear the case. Trump hoped that he could wait out the Federal cases, until if/when he is elected, he could stop all prosecutions.
These cases all need to be heard and decided before the e******n for the good of the nation. No one is above the law and certainly not Trump.
He has been charged and now needs to proceed to see if the facts determine guilt or innocence for not only this country, but for any Democracy in the world to show that the law and justice are blind in this country!

I find it hard to believe that so many of my fellow Yanks want to live in a world where the likes of Donald Trump enjoys legal immunity. Is it because of God making him for us? Or they just want to get their money's worth now?

It has moved beyond unbelievable to down right tribalism! The man has been charged and needs to tried as any other US citizen would be. He is not above the law!

But if we think that way we will have to go back to Hilary and Bill, the other half of Trump's old cabinet that haven't been charged yet. Don't see it happening, Trump going to jail I mean.

Bill plead guilty to his digressions to avoid future prosecution and a 5 year suspension of his law license. He was smart!

It appears that the vast majority of the remaining Trump supporters can be catergorized as people who have been taught WHAT to think as opposed to those who have been taught HOW to think. They are sheep, in politics, in religion, and life.

It's a question that goes much deeper than Donald Trump, the question at hand may be seemingly cut and dry as there are many who tend to believe that what Trump did on 1*6 deserves prosecution the question that the SCOTUS will have to answer can presidents be prosecuted post office for decisions they make in executing the office of the presidency and how will that effect p**********l decision making.... That is a bit more complex than the simple question of Trump's actions on 1*6.

Attempting to circumvent the v**es of the American public is not a P**********l duty! That is the will of a dictator to regain power at all cost! I will state that the SC will allow this prosecution to go forward as a US President is not now, nor ever has been above the law!
I do think that the SC will disallow states to remove Trump from the b****ts, given no charges have brought convictions at this point in time.
If Trump is found guilty in DC Federal case or Georgia he should go to jail though and not be allowed to serve as President. Those two cases are serious and the charges are serious felonies!

Everything Denny, what I said was pretty clear, if I could I would think for you but as I can't you will have to reread my post and put your thinking cap on.

What trump did on J****** 6, 2021 can NOT in any way be considered as part of "executing the office of the presidency".

Attempting to circumvent the v**es of the American... (show quote)

Let me remind you that Article 3 of the 14th Amendment doesn't require a conviction!
