Current week's flickr group theme is "Limited Color Palette."
While out looking for photo ops, I saw a metal barn with two areas that may or may not have been windows, but were now whitish, where the metal barn was reddish with brown stains. Thought there was "something" there, so I harvested my pixels and later went to work in Topaz Studio 2. Here's the result.
As always, your suggestions and feedback are encouraged.
Note this image is a replacement of the first shown, because I had linked from flickr, and then changed the edit per suggestions. Sorry for the confusion!
I really like it, Linda--nice work!
The whitish panels on the doors are fiberglass, letting light in.
You definitely had your abstract hat on for this one. In keeping with the theme, if you wanted you could remove the green at the top of the windows.

More usually found as part of roofs to give semi-opaque skylights.

Agreed. We see alot of them around here along the top wall of tool sheds.

Ah, that makes sense, thanks. John Matthew, my go-to expert in all things farming
I'm pleased you enjoyed the over-the-top results of my edits!

Thanks very much, R.G. I hadn't really paid attention to the green, although in reading articles and viewing photos, it is apparently OK (and sometimes desirable) to have bits of other colors as long as the dominant theme consists of two or three.
On the other hand, the week of monochromatic color frustrated me immensely
Great eye, Linda. I love it. Of course, I always want to pick some nits. I agree that the green should go, or altered somewhat, since it just doesn't look real. Then there are some yellow spots I'd prefer spotted out, along with the white one on the lower left margin. Finally, I'd like to try more contrast in the shadows, so the red stripes stand out just a little bit more. And I would to emphasize that I am convinced it would be work the effort.

Ah geeze, no pressure!
OK, I think I got it all. Instead of contrast, I used levels. I also thought it would be fun to share what I started with (after a couple of extreme slides during ACR editing).
Many thanks, Sam!

Pleased you enjoyed, Joe! Glad I followed up on the advice offered
Seems like I always get in late on your posts. All I can say is your imagination exceeds my by at least 5 orders of magnitude

Very nice of you to say, Jack, but I often don't know where I'm going 'til I get there
