Cadillac At The Seashore

This is another image I created from scratch in Adobe Photoshop using primarily the line and shape tools along with the use of several filters. I built the Cadillac first then created someplace for it to go. For me, the hardest part was the driver. I wanted a pretty woman driver with long flowing hair but this silly looking man driving the car was the best I could do. I hope you find it interesting. Comments are most welcome.

I have no training in color, design or other art aspects, but I know perfection when I see it Absolutely mesmerizing work, Chris!

I do have one observation/suggestion: the green texture at bottom seems to be drawing too much of my attention away from the rest. Something to do with size (height), or the color, or the texture itself?

Thank you very much Linda. I struggled a bit with that sidewalk/bike lane and never did come up with a fix I really liked. So I completely agree with your observation.

Maybe a third of its current size, and either in dark gray (like the street markings) or dark red (for brick)?

Excellent suggestions. It is clearly too big and while I do like the texture treatment the color is off.

Repost with your changes; don't just file it away and move on to the next project like I always do

If you insist Linda. I was prepared to move on but instead I have taken your suggestion and reduced the size of the bottom portion of the image, attempted to turn that area into a grassy strip and I added a couple outside lane stripes to the road. I think it is somewhat better. What do you think?

I love the minimalist composition and the primary colors
