I am certainly enjoying this forum but I do NOT enjoy the process of getting my image onto the background! This is the third time I've tried.
Anyway...the colors reminded me of sky, ground and water. I do not enjoy going into a body of water and the spirals reminded me of a terrifying expression (which is how I'd feel) going into a body of water!

Interesting work-up--I like it. I am not sure, however, that the color sticks add anything at all.

I'm trying to recall, but those "color sticks" were in the catagory of "hair"!

I can definitely see an abstract face here. The spiral "eyes" are whirlpools sucking you down into the deep. The left spiral is particularly interesting with the shadows creating a 3-D look.

When I squint a Bart Simpson comes to my mind. Odd is that the perception eyes wide open letting in a lot of light and detail is so different than squinting to limit the image intensity.

The mixture of various geometry and colors are well mixed... excellent.

Thank you for your kind words! It was an image that fully describes my own feelings, although my hair is only one color and not multple hued!

I was fortunate enough a number of years ago to visit Oetzi (the ice man) in his museum in Italy. I had read a lot about how he was found and the things he had with him that were still intact Millenia after his death. It was a fantastic treat to see him. I started wondering where your lake man came from and what his story is/was. Very cool image that brought back some nice memories and is thought provoking.

Hmmm... something I ought to investigate! It's history sounds fascinating. Thanks for refering to my artistic rendering as "thought provoking"! Much appreciated!
