Once again I tried to insert an avatar but it still says "permission denied". I went through this some time ago and just gave up.

Did you "Browse" your computer for an image, select it, and click "Upload"?

This happened to me probably a couple years ago or so and I wrote the admin and was told that since I had selected the option not to show ads it wouldn’t allow me to post an avatar so I had to allow adds.

There used to be. I think I checked sometime a year ago this past year and I couldn’t find it anymore. It might’ve been taken away or we don’t have that option anymore.

I just checked my profile and the option is not there. You will need to contact the Admin for help.
