Say hello to this character. His posture is good. Do you think he makes a great impression? . . .
Very engaging, high-impact composition and setting!
I'd be tempted to cheat and give the bird a bit of definition (and eyeball) on his left

Thank you.
I do agree with you about the eyeball situation. So I did an eye transplant and feel very guilty about it -
(take a look) . . . . Better?
Unfortunately, the definition of the bird cannot be fixt with any degree of realism because the image is too soft. That is also the reason why I did not activate the "store original" feature. -
Many thanks to
everybody for expressing your thoughts and feelings, they are appreciated. . . .

And I agree that definition and an eyeball is about all I can think of to improve the bird's image. In fact, on the altered image, I might lighten the face and eye a bit more.
Tell the bird if it will come to my backyard I will provide it's favorite bird food in return for posing. I am a bit tired of plain old crows and ravens.

Thank you. I like the lines too, they generally complement B&W images. . .

Thank you for your suggestion. I hesitated processing it any further to avoid possible undesirable results.
But I did speak to the bird about your offer. It is willing to come bye only if the food is of the highest quality.
