How likely is this to actually happen? Biden drops out of the p**********l race at the last minute and puts the dems in a bind. The most capable democratic candidate (Candidate 1) is very unlikely able to beat Trump. Michelle Obama enters the race to bail out the dems. She picks Candidate 1 as her running mate. Michelle easily wins the presidency. She is sworn in and after an appropriate amount of time she resigns and Candidate 1 becomes president. Could this happen?

It is disturbing but anything seems to be fair in politics these days. And even though Michelle has stated she has no interest in the presidency, I think she could be convinced to run to "save our democracy".

It is possible, but I have read multiple things about how much Michelle h**es the crowds, glad handing etc. involved with running for office.
Apparently it was a big deal for Barrack to get her to go on campaign trips, and after he was in office she didn't like the dealing with large numbers of people etc. being First Lady involved.
