I have heard an appeal is forthcoming. I hope so. This entire courtroom drama is a travesty toward anyone who believes in fair play. E. Jean Carroll must be the twin sister of Christine Blasey Ford who made similar accusations against SCOTUS Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Similarly E. Jean Carroll couldn't remember the details of President Trump sexually assaulting her but swore it was true. Of course years later she decided to mention it. Why didn't either mention it at the time?

This judgment has to be finalized completely (30 days after judgment) with no challenge by either attorney on actions of the other attorney. Kaplan may go after Habba on her after judgment comments.

After judge makes judgment final, then appeal can be filed within 30 days with the bond or cash + interest and other fees put up to secure previous jury decisions. The appellate court will take the judgment under review.

The appeal is not on rape or not; that's been decided. Defamation has already been decided too, so the appeal is only on the $ amount.

Denise. Trump was found guilty of rape in a PREVIOUS trial, NOT this one. Therefore the information (BS) trying to be profferred by his lawyers (and quoted in your source) was not even applicable. THIS trial is ONLY for the award of further damages for defamation.
