Sometimes Overprocessing just grabs hold of the sliders.... Oh Well...
One person's "over" is another person's "just right." I like it very much. The colors lend themselves to saturation and the water drops add interest. Are they crocuses? Mother Nature's way of making us smile in the month we need it most!
I tried darkening around the edges and darkening the brightest areas of upper right (using a combo of burning and cloning) since they were pulling my eye away from the subject. Sent to you via pm for your opinion
Neat the way it accentuates the plant.
Sometimes overdone is good.

One person's "over" is another person's ... (

I have not yet read your PM but NOW that I look at the Click I SEE the brighter areas upper right... Amazing how we get SO caught up in " Over Saturating " that we overlook the obvious... I am going to go take a look at your mods now... BTW, I take criticism well... I can show you the scars from that learning experience.

One nice thing about shooting in raw and editing with a non-destructive editor is that you can always go back and change your mind!

Similar with editing and NOT writing the changes over the original file.
I never do that, I always Save As <new name>......
P.S. - One of my cameras does
NOT provide RAW.........
I tried a method similar to Linda's in Photoshop: Select>Select All, Select>Modify>Contract>500, Select>Inverse, Select>Modify>Feather>400, Curve>bring highlight down to 255:140. Try it; you might like it ... or not.

Delighted you're open to suggestions, Bob. For me, it's one of the pleasures of forum participation.
The upper right and the flowers balance well. I love rich saturated colors and my slider has a notch to show for that preference.
