NCSU Gymnasts finally had a home meet. Team season high was recorded as well as several personal bests. Shot with a Z9 paired with a Tamron 35-150 f2-2.8. Shutter speed priority at 1/1000, aperture f2.8 - 3.5, ISO generally 6400.

WOW Rick you have gymnastics down my friend. I love all of these. Number 4 is my favorite. The concentration of her eyes on the bar is awesome. Girl gymnast are so athletic. Thanks keep um coming. BE SAFE!!

Rick these are some of your best work. I too have never shot gymnasts but would like to. You have captured the essence of the sport, expressions are priceless, color, exp right on. Great work and I don't say that often.

Thanks, Jules. Of the four events, I could only shoot two from my normal location. The other two which yielded some of the best shots of the night, I had to improvise because of school and team folks taking "my" spots. BUT - I ended up with some better locations and will right there night time out. Also, it was nice to shoot something other than basketball and hockey. Perhaps that came through, too. But again, thank you for the kind words.
