I captured these eagles building a nest back in May 2021 using a Canon 7D2 with a 100-400 lens sand with a 1.4 extender. The day of these images was dreary and gray. I replaced the sky. I like the various poses the eagles offered but I'm not real satisfied with the quality as there is just a lot of noise, so the images are not as sharp as I'd like. I've since replaced the 7D2 with a 5D4 and a 5DSR.
Eagles tend to build their nests on the highest point. I'm a fair distance away and shooting up.

I wish the eagles I saw last summer here would have done that instead of sitting behind branches whenever they were there 🩵🥇🩵
