Good shot! I like the minimalist snowy background. We have them (Gambel's Quail) in our neighborhood, and we often see 8 or 10 of them running around, single file.

Black and white, high key, wonderful composition Linda. I really enjoyed the use of negative space as well. As a suggestion, I have attached a slight crop to more emphasize the two birds with the third rumbling along behind. Not suggesting this is better, but just different. Let me know what you think!
