Good shot! I like the minimalist snowy background. We have them (Gambel's Quail) in our neighborhood, and we often see 8 or 10 of them running around, single file.

Black and white, high key, wonderful composition Linda. I really enjoyed the use of negative space as well. As a suggestion, I have attached a slight crop to more emphasize the two birds with the third rumbling along behind. Not suggesting this is better, but just different. Let me know what you think!

Well done, Linda. I might have been tempted to crop just a little off the top and the left but not too much. Just what my eye likes.
