Having a lot of fun.
I started wanting to digitize a bunch of 57-year-old slides. I went a little overboard with equipment. I had no intention at the beginning but it just took off.
I bought a PB-4 Bellows to start. I then added the slide attachment to make it a little easier. I got some decent results but it was too limited. I then got an Adjustable height stand for the product when shooting. Now for some adjustable armed LED lights. I didn't buy all at once, purchased something every day for about a week. Amazon has been dropping off every day.
Anyway, I thought some of you might find this a bit humorous as you might have done the same thing.
My camera was not the best and I'm sure everything was auto. My Slides were not that well preserved as they were taken while in the military while stationed in Vietnam and stored in the extreme heat. The slides are Ektachrome, I now found out Kodachrome would have been a lot better but more expensive.
The second image is an example of what I'm looking forward to taking over the winter.
I had some grapes for a snack and was looking at the branch/stem. I wondered what it would look like close up, I was surprised and showed my Wife. She didn't believe me and had to go look at the setup. She went back and forth a coup of times making sure I wasn't pulling her leg. This is a first of a lot more interesting images.
It looks like a lot of work went into these Jim.

The first one yes. The second on about 10 min.
Your set up is reminiscent of any photography project. Try something change and adjust. Your first shot is historical the second one is artistic.

Thanks Frank. The second one reminds me of the Olympic Torch.

I agree, add a flame to it and I think you got something there.

Sounds like a project; but it is nice to have those images digitized. Well done.
