I am looking at the IPhone 12 mini to replace my iPhone 6 for photography. Would appreciate comments good or bad on the 12’s camera.
Thanks.

I have one and like it. I don’t do a boat load of shooting with it but use it mostly because it’s so convenient.
Here’s a snapshot I took, no special technique used, just a hand held snap.
Zoom it up and see what you think.

That’s a good one. It’s sharp and has nice color. Nothing wrong with the 12 Mini.

To the original post what ever camera you have with you is the best. I am not familiar with the i Phone 12 mini but the picture that was posted is fantastic. The important thing is to shoot and enjoy. They all seem to take great photos.

I think the biggest difference is that the iPHone 12 Mini is smaller and doesn’t have as many camera lenses as the 12 Pro or Pro Max. One thing, lenses aside, the Pro Max version has a bigger, larger capacity battery and if one is out and about and shooting a lot, that is a plus. Other than that it’s a very capable phone camera.

Here’s a couple of shots with my I phone 12 and no post processing. I’ve not had a problem and get good results

Great shot good composition and color. Phone did it's part as well as the operator who composed it.

I just traded mine in after a few years of use. It’s a huge upgrade from the 6! And I loved the size as well. I went from that to the iPhone 15 pro max which is phenomenal but I definitely miss the compact size of the 12 mini.
