Always obey signs.
That's a lot better than picking it up while it's pooping.
Very good.
I am noticing along the local walking trail that some folks are bagging the dog poop and then leaving the baggie along side the trail. I find this more annoying than folks not scooping at all.
Curious. How many dogs do not poop? 😜

It's the same thing here, with appropriate complaints.

That "practice" has increased here in Colorado and the excuse the ladies give is that the dog poops on the way up and they bag it and then pick it up on the way down the trail. That is pure nonsense and the trail sides are littered with colorful bags. I am frequently one of the last ones down the trail and these bags are still carpeting the trailside.
Just another benefit of Californicating Colorado.
They don't need to bag it in the first place. Just take the precious dog a suitable distance off the trail and let it do its duty there---next to the thosuand of deer, elk, moose, beaver, cats, martens, badger, bears, and marmot etc etc droppings that no one ever picks up.
Better yet, leave the dog home and walk the adorable little thing in the local park and leave the wilderness to the wild. I'm sure this post will outrage the self righteous tree hugging litterers so pls note:
