Splash toilet cleaner

Watched an infomercial on this product. One would think it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread . Just pour some of the product in the toilet; wait until it foams up to near top of bowl; then flush. No scrubbing necessary. So, I took the bait and ordered. The product never did foam. And did not clean as advertised.
Anyone tried this product? Is it a scam or did I miss a key step in the execution?

I don't think there is any such thing as a cleaner that cleans without scrubbing. That part seems a scam. But maybe use it with a scrubber, and it will be fine (?)

No, you didn't. Bought something similar here in the U.K. Never foamed, didn't clean. The only think that went down the drain was my money.

It's like those ads for dental implants. If you believe the ad yuo should be walking out of the Dentist's off with your new teeth. In fact it takes at least 6 months before you gat your actual implants.
