While we can only speculate on the possible outcomes, 40+ years of experience with computer technology tells us there will be both good and bad consequences, many of which are unforeseeable. Whether we like it or not, that's the ride we are on, so we may as well try to understand it. Hope you all find this of some interest...
A very interesting demonstration!
You know their fake when you see Genghis Kahn smiling, however a smile does make all the difference.
These were pretty darn good. Would take a world class photo editor a long time to get these results in just one of these photo's. What was most interesting besides the high quality was how about all the folks came out really good looking. That alone is worth something.
What I found most interesting is that the smiles reached their eyes not just a mouth smile.

I might watch that several times. Made me smile all the way thru!

This made me smile again and again! Thank you for posting it.
Made me smile too; glad you all enjoyed it!
Thanks for the link, I found this to be an outstanding video. We live in an age of rapidly advancing technology and medical science is one of its benefactors. I watched a program where a child was born with a heart defect and not expected to live long on life support without correcting the defect.
The heart surgeon's team used a CT scan to create a 3D image of the newborn's heart and sent the data out to have a 3D plastic model made of it. The surgeons had instruments modified for the special need and they practiced using robotics to repair the heart. The surgery was a success although without the ability to create the model, modify the instruments, and practice, practice, practice the results would have been far different.
