Self-2 Ranger-0

I guess Ranger is not feeling well today, he didn't get up to go with me for either of my 2 walks.

I hope he's doing better later today or tomorrow.

I did get a few photos I'll share. I hope you enjoy them.

100mm lens with 5X setting, I need to practice using that combination though. It should be somewhat sharper in focus.

I wouldn't know how to tell for sure, but I don't think so. I think maybe one of my grandkids gave him something to eat that bothers him.

His nose is warm and dry instead of cool and wet, like it usually is. But he has been drinking his water and eating his food.

I'll keep an eye on him over the next day or so. He acted this way once before.

For those following this post:

Self-3 Ranger-1

Ranger perked up about the time my wife got home from work.

The top of his head and his nose were both cooler to touch, not quite normal, but close, and his nose felt damp to touch.

He joined my wife and I for a walk of just over a half mile.

Both this and the next pic were taken while he was moving, so 🤷 the pictures are somewhat blurry.

Poor Ranger. “My momma said there’d be days like this, there’s be days like this my momma said.” Guess this is one of those days.

Forgive me if it’s already been addressed, but what kind of dog is Ranger?

I hope Ranger gets well soon. From the looks of the shots you took, I don't blame him for not wanting to get out of a warm bed.

Hope Ranger feels better. That is the trouble with pets they cannot tell you how they feel. Other pictures are great. Just saw that Ranger is starting to feel better. That is great news.

Thanks for looking and for your comments and question. Ranger is an Australian Blue Heeler and is almost 11 years old.

A Vet online suggested he probably has arthritis and needs supplements. I'll be trying some of them for him and see if they help.

Thanks for looking and for your comments! Much appreciated and I know Ranger hopes so too! And I'm sure his comfort level in his bed is possibly a factor too!

I think he is. We went on a walk this afternoon. I bought some supplements to support his immune system and his hip and joints. He seemed to perk up a bit afterwards.
