Several threads concern the Canon R7 with and without the RF 100-500L lenses.
Well here is a shot from a few days ago with the R7 + 100-500 self identifying as a near macro setup.
A bee on a flower.

Great, fantastic. You are so good at this.
That's a nice "fuzzy" image!

Thanks very much. Lots of practice. I got my first camera in 4th grade. And I have been retired since June 2007 so lots of time to play with cameras.
Here is the "Bee Bush".

Winter coat, and we are having a rough winter in So. Cal. A high of only 80F today.
Sorry about that for you poor people in snow up to your... I have been there and done that; Michigan, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky, Central California with trips up to the Sierras to play in the snow. And of course I can walk outside and look North, Mountains with snow and a couple of well known ski resorts.
That is where we took the kids to play in the snow, ski etc. when they were little. Our special needs son used to compete in the Special Olympics Winter Games when they were held at Big Bear. His little sister would be with the "baby sitting" classes, multiple instructors, ski, snowboard, snowshoe, lessons. Then for breaks they would have snow ball fights and build snowmen at the foot of the slopes. At 7 Jasmine made it to the double diamond runs along with some older kids her second weekend. Just her, two early teens and an instructor. She did so well that Special Olympics assigned her as Jon's "Ski Buddy" for his runs. She could ski rings around him but being heavier he could go faster down hill. That sort of "frosted" her.
Haven't been up in a long time, Jon is now 31 (mentally a bright 5yo) and at 29 Jasmine is a Pediatrician.
