I’ve been using LR Classic and when I watched the Adobe tutorials, I was humbled by all the tweaking…often correcting things I thought were OK but usually liked the additional changes. I’m wondering if Luminar might be something I would enjoy, love your thoughts. Curious, how hard and how long to learn? Thank you so much. (I put Luminar in a Hedgehog search and all that can up seemed very old submissions.)

The amount of tweaking that you're willing to do will be influenced by how user-friendly the tools are. Lr may not be perfect but they are top of their game when it comes to making the tools easy to use. I would consider alternatives only if they had something better to offer as far as ease of use is concerned.

Ive been using Luminar for 4 or 5 yrs .. initially started because it was pay $80 Done, no subscription and then upgrade every couple yrs. Started with Luminar4 just got Luminar Neo around end of the yr (when they all always have good deals) which they changed to subscription like everyone else. I really enjoying it .. I like it and feel its fewer clicks. Try it!! They have a month free trial

Luminar Neo is now my go to editor but I still use Affinity Photo to fine tune my images. Luminar is easy to learn and gives me great results with little time and effort.

Luminar offers a Monday/Wednesday "Coffee Break" session starting at 1pm ET. In this short presentation is an example of a Luminar Neo tool. After the presentation, there is an "Ask me anything" session. This can go until 2PM ET. These sessions are free. They use Zoom to access. There is no pressure for anyone to participate. There are usually about 110 people participating on each day. Some never comment. To access the event, access this link: https://insiders.skylum.com/events/coffee-break-with-luminar?instance_index=20240115T180000Z#

I’ve used 5 different versions of Luminar over the years. IMHO the first solid version was AI. Luminar NEO has a few more features over AI that I like. It’s very versatile, has a number of AI sliders that save me time, and I have found it very easy to use.

Thank you all!
Yesterday I stumbled on Luminar is losing millions each year and stock price falling. Just google. Hope it stays afloat!

Do you have the link to that assessment and can you please post? I'd like to see it.
