After shoveling and plowing about 19 inches of new snow at the house, we took off for a drive up the North Fork road. This road runs from Columbia Falls Mt to the Canada border along the north side of Glacier National Park.

It sure is beautiful drive!

Yes it is...there was about 2ft of new snow just from yesterdays storm..but it sure was pretty.

We sure did need that drive! I'm just not sure why I have to shovel and Randy runs the truck with the plow...I really think it should be the other way around!

Thanks Ken...that is a small herd and it was nice to see them up there. This area is the winter range for the elk and deer, and we used to see thousands of elk and hundreds of deer on the drive thru there....now your lucky to see a few deer and small herds of maybe 50 or so elk.
