Here are several images or examples of the Adamaski Effect. All three were post-processed using ON1 Photo RAW.

If looking for more examples, this site will exhibit more photographs.

BDK,

There are numerous PS YouTube videos on the Adamaski Effect, but few using ON1 so I came up with my own method. I'm sure you have looked at many.

Here is another example. I should take more time to refine the edges of the locomotive, but that can come later.

Whaz its actual intended purpose according to Mr Adamaski or according to ON 1 or Adobe ?

I don't see that the effect adds anything to the composition. Quite the contrary. I find it terribly distracting, like AI fakery. Is this a filter of some sort that's used? I'm not familiar with the effect.

Cant dial it up on the effects knob on my Pen-F, so its either fairly new or long forgotten. Or maybe I need a FW update.

I had thought it might be actually intended as a video effect, but its not available in my GH6 with up to date FW.

Perhaps its currently just another solution in need of a problem ? (Im still thinking video.)

Wonderful set, I really like the last one. Beauty needs no other reason to exist

The artistic effect is to hold one subject in focus and blur the remaining photograph.

I misspelled the effect. Look up Adamski Effect and you will find some eye catching images.

Very nice job with these! Did you use the Path Blur tool in Photoshop to create the blur?

All the post-processing was done using ON1 Photo RAW. I did not use layers, although that is an option.
