Nice shot. Nature sometimes makes sharp distinctions.

I recall standing inside the front door of a restaurant waiting for a table. The entry was crowding up with people, dripping wet, trying to get out of the heavy rain outside. But looking out of a window at the back of the restaurant it was sunny and there was no rain at all.
Most interesting and I love how you composed it with the reflection in the water. Good job!!

Nice shot, Bill.

I remember my dad and me working in the same field, he on the west and me on the east. A rainstorm came up, and he was drenched while I never felt a drop.

Thanks John - I'm glad you liked it and always appreciate your comments. A similar thing happened to me when I was a kid. A bunch of us neighborhood kids were playing in the street and it started raining but only on the other side of the street. To this day I've never seen it again.

I appreciate your observation… while I’m familiar with the weather “front” moving in with the razor sharp cloudy/clear defined; but you’re absolutely right about the blue-gold sunris/sunset look. Unique to say the least great catch!

Nice catch Bill. I have seen this one time myself, and it, too, was in cold weather at sunrise. It must be very rare.

Thanks Frank - I'm glad you liked it and always appreciate your comments. That is the only time I've seen a split sky like that.
