Another Australian native, the Australian Magpie. Some also in southern New Guinea.
Three pics, Dad, Junior and Mum...
Interesting facts about the Australian magpie...
They have four toes, three facing forward and one backwards. The Australian Magpie forages on the ground with their strong beaks feeding on insects, worms, small lizards, frogs and beetles. Being used to humans, they take handouts of food and will often head into open houses to beg for food.

Thanks Ken, they sing beautifully as well. ABC Science did a survey on what was the nicest animal/bird sound in Australia and the Maggie won hands down...
